The Hood, in partnership with UBBO and the Mexican Embassy in Portugal, have come together to bring you a unique programme to celebrate Día de los muertos in the best possible way on 31st October and 1st November.

31st October - UBBO
6.00pm to 9.00pm: Face-painting
6.30pm to 10.30pm: Opening and entertainment at the ice rink with DJ and ice skaters. Entry to the ice rink will be free for the first 150 people who are in costume.
1st November - The Hood + UBBO
10.00 am: Altar de los muertos set up in collaboration with Mexican artist Rafael Ibarra at The Hood
1.00 pm to 9.00 pm: Traditional market with sale of handmade Mexican products at The Hood
2.30pm to 3.30pm: Workshop for children
Scary food with Mafalda Teixeira from Funny Cook at UBBO

3.30pm-5.30pm: Entertainment with Mexican dance group Alebrije at Central Square and Catrinas parade starting at Central Square moving to UBBO and ending at The Hood
3.00pm-6.30pm: Facial painting at the Central Square
5.00pm: Skull making, paper flower making, face painting and piñatas workshops (no enrolment needed)
